The Blackpool International Soul Festival is delighted to announce that we have now added THE SOUL BROTHERS SYNDICATE featuring DARRELL SMITH to our 10th anniversary weekender at the magnificent Winter Gardens in Blackpool!
On stage in the Empress Ballroom with a 13-piece orchestra at 9pm on Friday June 19th, with the iconic P P Arnold appearing for her exclusive 60th anniversary show on the Saturday evening.
This will be the Soul Brothers Syndicate’s debut in Blackpool and it’s a result of huge public demand!
The event runs over the weekend of Friday June 19th to Sunday June 21st 2026.

THE BLACKPOOL INTERNATIONAL SOUL FESTIVAL, JUNE 19th-21st 2026.
Taking place in the magnificent Winter Gardens Blackpool this year we have FIVE rooms covering all the exciting styles of soul music and today it's time to celebrate our stunning DJ line-ups (Please note that some DJs will be playing in more than one room)
ROOM ONE: In the Empress Ballroom, live acts on stage (The Soul Brothers Syndicate Orchestra featuring Darrell Smith on Friday and the iconic P P PP Arnold on Saturday plus DJs Richard Searling Kev Roberts Derek Mead, Sean Chapman, Ozz, Mick Taylor, Hitsville Chalky, John Kane, Rod Allsworth, Jimmy Scriv, Tim Rabjohn, Alan Cain, Ian Wills, Barry 'Motown' Simpson, Gary Donnelly, Terry Shaw, Ray Copley.
ROOM TWO: In the Pavilion, reunion sessions for the Manchester Twisted Wheel and the Manchester Ritz Jazz-Funk & Disco All-Dayers with an esoteric mix of rare Northern Soul, Mod, & Ska with DJs The Heart Of Soul Team (new), Butch, Dean Anderson, Keith Money, Jordan Wilson, Tonge, Sean Chapman, Mark & Debbie Wilson, Andy Hill, Simon Hunt, Mark Grice, Neil Rushton, Chris Box and Derek Smiley.
ROOM THREE: In the Old Victoria Bar there's collectors' crossover 70s, rare groove, Club a Go-Go, with DJs Butch, Andy 'tats' Taylor, Steve Plumb, Flanny, The First Vienna Soul Club (new), Eddie Piller, Tom Jackson, Keith Money, Jem Booth, Andy Davies, Bob Jeffries, Dug Chant, Tony Shawcross, Jem Booth, Glyn Thornhill, Roman, Carole McCarthy, Tim Ashibende, Sam Evans, Chris Box, John Kane, Steve Woomble and Danny Clegg.
ROOM FOUR: In the Arena, new for 2026, we have the new-look Modern Soul for connoisseurs sessions and the Blackpool Mecca 70s soul reunion. This room will be one Modern Soul anthem after another with the accent on SOUL! DJs keeping the floor busy are Colin Curtis, Billy Wildman, Barry Maleedy, Mike Stephens, Pete Haigh, Andy Davies, Bob Jeffries, and Chris Box.
ROOM FIVE: Upstairs to the Renaissance room which returns this year by popular demand with a heady mix of 60s R&B courtesy of DJs Bill Kealy, Mace, Lorna Beattie, Ozz and Neale Dewey.
