We are pleased to let you know that your no-fly cruise booking with Ambassador Cruise Line is now financially protected through ABTOT – The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited. As part of the change that comes into effect on 1 October 2025, any current no-fly bookings with Ambassador will be automatically protected by ABTOT, a government approved body. This means that all existing and future customers booking with us can enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing their money continues to be safe and fully protected in the unlikely event of our financial failure.

As an ABTA member (Y6765) and a member of CLIA, we are proud to align with recognised travel trade standards that ensure that Ambassador continues to meet all its legal obligations. Your new financial protection arrangements remain fully compliant with the Package Travel Regulations 2018 and have no effect on your rights under the legislation.

Every detail of your arrangements remains exactly the same. There is no change in cost and your booking will remain financially protected. We will continue to look after you and your holiday with care, friendliness and professionalism. From 1 October 2025, updated Terms and Conditions will be found on our website Booking Conditions | Ambassador Cruise Line and you will also be able to download an updated booking confirmation invoice by visiting My Ambassador Sailing.

There is no change to Ambassador’s fly-cruise programme, as this will continue to be protected by the CAA, the UK regulator that administers the ATOL financial protection scheme designed to protect consumers booking flight-inclusive holidays.
